What a blessed life we live up here in the Canadian
prairies. I love winter, I love spring, I love fall and I love summer. There
just never seems to be enough days in the week to do everyone I want to do, and
the summer is the grand-daddy of them all.
Last year a friend shared an article on Facebook that really
struck a chord with me. It was about why we need to stop bragging about being
so busy, and mostly how to valuing the way you spend your time. I have become conscious
of how many people respond to “How are you” with “BUSY!” and complain(brag)
about how many things they have to do. Take the kids here, do this, work the
job, I EVEN NEED TO FIND TIME TO SLEEP OMGZ!
Look, we are all busy. I get it. I am no more busy than you
and you are no more busy than him. I live a very full life and sure, sometimes
I feel overwhelmed. We all do.
So, in the spirit of fullness, and in recognition of my
desire to write again (and my on-again/off-again relationship with this blog), I am going to try to share what fills my time with you here.
Let’s see if I can keep up...
